Aftershave What's The Difference ?

Here's the answer

AftershaveWhat's The Difference

The-Difference Aftershave and eau de toilette are often thought of as the same. They are not. Aftershave contains less perfume oil, particulary if it’s a natural oil – this can be as little as 4% when a concentrated oil is used, and often contains extra soothing ingredients such as aloe vera. On the other hand, an eau de toilette contains more perfume oil than the aftershave, anything up to 10%, and normally lasts longer on the skin. Because pure oils can be prohibitively expensive, many brands use quality synthetic fragrance oils. They are an excellent alternative, and some perfumiers even prefer them. Once again, because the composition of so many fragrances are not available to study, we have to trust the experts.
Cheap-Alternatives - The reason why cheap aftershaves smell so weak and soapy - is basically down to cost. You cannot produce a 100ml aftershave of any quality for £5.00 per bottle. Something has to give, and that something is normally down to a cheaper alcohol or fragrance oil.
Quality Aftershave & Cologne All high quality aftershaves contain much higher levels of oils to blended perfume alcohol. Hence why they choose a 50ml atomser bottle for their basic product, This appears to be about the optimum size per quality option. Middle-Market There are a great number of middle-priced aftershaves on the market today. The vast majority are well formulated and produced and will do the job of closing the pores post shave, as well as creating a reasonable lasting aroma.
Packaging - A good deal of your cost in buying your favourite aftershave can be seen in the bottle and packaging. some of these creations are nothing less than a work of art in themselves. This in many cases adds to the luxury of the purchase or the feeling of exclusivity.
